Performs preliminary sizing of preparative process chromatography columns for life science production applications. The app uses the selected DIR and process requirements to calculate required resin volume, column diameter, packed-bed height, process flow rates, superficial velocity, pressure basis, connections, and preliminary equipment envelope. Applicable chromatography modes include affinity, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction, mixed-mode, and other packed-bed preparative chromatography processes where resin capacity and process loading data are available.
